Genesee Theatre
view

The Genesee Theatre Restoration Project’s mission was to renovate, preserve, and perpetuate the Historic Genesee Theatre as a visual and performing arts and community center. The group developed the website to inform the community of the progress of the project and to support fund raising. Since the building was not open to the public during the renovation, this website allowed everyone to sneak a peek inside.

flyer: Historic Preservation Ordinance
flyer (836kb, pdf)

This flyer uses typography to guide the reader through a series of questions designed to inform and persuade. Designed for photocopy reproduction.

logo: Sign, Lighting, and Awning Program
view

I designed this dynamic image to work alone or with the name of the program below, allowing it to be used on plaques and window signs as well as on paper.

logo: Land Conservancy of Lake County
view

The good ideas of the original design were obscured by detail, making the logo difficult to use on signage and contributing to an old-fashioned look. Without changing the overall look of the logo, I incorporated the strongest images into a new, balanced logo.

logo: Personal Mark
view

A personal logo for a couple’s wedding invitations. It combines the first letters of each of their names (C and O), symbolizing their union without resort to cliché (hearts, wedding bells, etc.).

The mark was also used to make a rubber stamp. This inexpensive option allows future use on correspondence and other personal projects.
